Seven men accused of bodily harm released on bail

Seven men accused of a mob attack in Hamilton Parish were released from custody on Friday.Damon Darrell, Allan Douglas, Kiwuan Gilbert, Bennett Phipps, Detroy Smith, Kaiwan Trott and Kyle Williams, all of St. George's, had been remanded after being charged with wilful damage and intent to do bodily harm in an assault on Tamesgan Furbert.Following 90 minutes of legal talk from defence lawyers Charles Richardson and Llewellyn Peniston in Magistrates' Courty, Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner granted $10,000 bail to each of the defendants.

The attack is said to have happened on February 27. The men were ordered to return to court on Friday, June 26.
