Six Islanders have been awarded Queen's Certificates and Badges of Honour in the 2010 New Year's Honours and Awards List. The recipients are:

Joan Marie Burgess, JP, for services to the Family Court Panel;

Victoria Smith, for services to tourism;

Janice Warner, for services to Bermuda culture Gombeys;

WO2 Phillip Bernard Pitman, LSM, EM, for services to the Bermuda Regiment Band;

WO1 (RSM Ret) Sherwyn Richardson, for services to the Bermuda Regiment

Lt. Commander Dwayne Trott, for services to the Bermuda Sea Cadets.
