Woman catches thief rifling through her car

A woman confronted a thief who broke into her car in Warwick on Monday evening.Police said the woman parked her vehicle on Stacey Estates Road at about 8 p.m. and took some groceries inside her home. When she returned to the car, the man was inside.A Police spokesman said: "The Warwick resident confronted the offender, who made good his escape on foot with an old Nokia cellular phone."
A woman confronted a thief who broke into her car in Warwick on Monday evening.
Police said the woman parked her vehicle on Stacey Estates Road at about 8 p.m. and took some groceries inside her home. When she returned to the car, the man was inside.

The thief was slim, white, between 25 and 35 years old, about 5ft 10in tall and had short hair. He was wearing a shirt, khaki pants and sneakers.

A home in Lightbourn Drive, Warwick, was burgled overnight on Sunday. The culprit stole jewellery. Police are investigating.
