Woman injured in Front Street crash

Police blocked traffic on Front Street briefly yesterday after a collision between a car and a motorcycle outside the Emporium Building. It appears a 29-year-old Pembroke woman was riding the motorcycle west on Front Street when she collided with a car travelling in the opposite direction. While damage to the motorcycle appeared to be quite extensive, the injuries suffered by the rider are not believed to be life threatening.Police blocked off the street and diverted vehicles onto Queen Street and Parliament Street, causing traffic to back up on both sides of the collision as officers investigated the accident.Shortly after 3pm, police moved the damaged vehicles out of the road and reopened Front Street to traffic.Useful website: www.bps.bm.
