A male teacher at Bermuda High School for Girls has been sacked due to "an exchange of inappropriate text messages with a student".A BHS statement this evening said: "Effective as of April 5, 2011, a faculty member's employment in the Secondary Department at The Bermuda High School for Girls was terminated due to an exchange of inappropriate text messages with a student."The Bermuda Police Service has been contacted and is conducting a full investigation and, accordingly, the school cannot comment any further."BHS is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all of its students and requires the highest professional standards for all its teachers."
