Government gifts refurbished computers to primary school

Government donated several refurbished computers to Victor Scott Primary last week.Minister of Information Technology Neletha Butterfield said the computers were no longer functioning fast enough for Government, but still had value left in them.She said: “It is pleasure as Minister to continue to support the Recycled Computer programme that was established by the PLP Government. The objectives of the programme are to recycle computers and pass these computers on to those who have a need, especially the after-school programmes in our schools and community.”Students and Principal Valerie Williams accepted the donation.
