Missing yacht arrives safely

An Ireland-bound yacht that went missing after it sailed from Bermuda has arrived safely in County Kerry, Ireland, following an extensive air and sea search.

Authorities feared the

Golden Eagle had been lost in the aftermath of Hurricane Katia until it sailed yesterday into Portmagee harbour.

The crew, a New Zealander and a Norwegian both in their sixties, set out from Bermuda expecting calm weather on August 21.

They reached Ireland ten days late after battling storms across the Atlantic.
