No winner in Burt and Butterfield rematch

Tonight's rematch between Minister Neletha Butterfield and Senator David Burt did not produce a candidate to represent the PLP in the next general election.The pair drew for a second time in their bid to represent the party in Pembroke West Central.Their contest last month ended with no result amid allegations Ms Butterfield's 17-year-old grandson took part in the vote.Party rules state members must be 18 or older to vote in the series of meetings currently determining the Progressive Labour Party's field of candidates for the next general election.
