Lawyer Michelle St Jane is the keynote speaker at a Bermuda Bar Association event on Wednesday.Ms St Jane runs Kairos Philanthropy and has worked as an acting Family Court Magistrate and chairman of the Police Complaints Authority.According to a press release, her presentation entitled Twenty-First Century Lawyers of Bermuda: The Traditional, The Innovative and The Change Agent, will “amplify the call for a greater uptake of personal and professional responsibility for the well-being of the people of Bermuda and our planet”.Issues such as law reform will be covered at the event, which is part of the Bar Association’s continuing legal education programme and will be held at the Bermuda Insurance Institute, Cedar Avenue, Pembroke, from 5.30pm to 6.30pm.Ms St Jane has participated in a range of international speaking engagements, including academic conferences in New Zealand, Finland, Italy, Portugal, France and the USA.Useful website: www.philanthropy.bm
