Police are investigating an accident when a 12-year-old boy was hit by a truck.A Police spokesman said: “Around 5.40pm on Tuesday January 17, police received a report of a collision.“It appears that a truck was travelling along North Shore Road, Pembroke, when a collision occurred with a pedestrian near the junction with Church Lane.“The victim, a 12-year-old Pembroke boy was conveyed to King Edward VII Memorial and treated for his injuries. He is currently in stable condition on a general ward.“Inquiries into this incident are ongoing. Officers have already received reports from several people who were in the area at the time and encourage any other witnesses to contact Pc Emmerson Donald on 295-0011.”
