Two bouncing baby boys were born yesterday on February 29, the day that marks a leap year.
The first leap year baby to arrive in Bermuda this year was born at 1.31pm at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
Baby Hall weighed in at 8.1lbs. A hospital spokeswoman said both the mother, Alexis Hall and baby are doing fine.
Baby Amaral checked into the world at 4.59pm yesterday. Parents Patricia and Carlos Amaral were delighted to introduce the new baby to his two young siblings.
The hospital spokeswoman said the two youngsters, a boy and a girl were absolutely thrilled to meet the new baby.
Both Ms Amaral and the baby are doing well and resting comfortably on the hospital's maternity ward.
