Two teens injured in road crash

A teenager and a 12-year-old were injured in a three-vehicle collision in Hamilton Parish.

The accident occurred on North Shore Road near the junction with East Point Lane.

According to police, two cars and an auxiliary cycle collided, around 5pm on Thursday.

Said a spokesperson: “The three vehicles received relatively minor damage.

“The rider and pillion passenger of the auxiliary cycle, a 19-year-old St George’s woman and a 12-year-old St George’s girl were injured; however their injuries are not believed to be serious. There were no other injuries reported.”

Police are investigating the accident.
