Created: Mar 28, 2012 09:54 AM
The Department of Marine and Ports wishes to remind the public the deadline for mooring and boat licences has been set back this year.
While annual re-licencing has previously been required by March 31, this year’s re-licencing period will begin on April 1.
Renewal notices are being sent this week, and payments can be made starting the week of April 2.
Any new licences will be valid from June 1, 2012 to May 31, 2013.
Currently licenced boats and moorings will be given an extension of their licences until May 31, 2012.
Boat owners who know their account number can view their account and the amount owed at www.marineandports.bm.
