The Corporation of St George will next month hold an election to fill a vacant Common Councillor position.The election is to be held June 14.The five Common Councillor positions are usually filled during the municipal elections however only four individuals George Sutherland, Eakin McLaughlin, Cheryl Hayward-Chew and Philip Anderson had their names put forward by the deadline for nomination.As a result, all four nominees automatically won positions. June’s election will determine who will take the remaining seat.Those who are interested in running must have their names put forward by May 28.
