e-Magazine fulsome in its praise of Bermuda

An online magazine has published an extensive and very positive review of Bermuda as a tourism destination, featuring several resort areas, golf courses and restaurants. My Apricot Hill, an e-magazine featuring content devoted to entertaining, destinations and style, described Bermuda as “refined, particular and absolutely remarkable”.The article ‘Destination: Bermuda’ begins by describing a visit to St George’s, advocating a visit to St Peter’s Church and some of the town’s shops. The writer then moves on to Dockyard, mentioning their favourite shop, the Dockyard Glassworks. The glowing reviews of Bermuda’s towns ends with Hamilton, which My Apricot Hill calls “a stately tribute to perfection”.Although others are touched on, the Swizzle Inn holds the distinction of being the only restaurant with its own section in the article, with the author calling it a “requisite stop for first-time or repeat visitors to the Island”.My Apricot Hill also has nothing but positive sentiments to describe four of Bermuda’s resorts.Rosewood Tucker’s Point Resort, Pompano Beach Club, Cambridge Beaches and The Reefs all received abundant compliments from the e-magazine.A separate article titled ‘Bermuda: Golf in the Seaside Kingdom’ reviews the Island’s golf courses. It describes the various attributes of the “spectacular” Port Royal Golf Club, “understated and revered” Mid Ocean Club and the “exceptional” Tucker’s Point Golf Club.Perhaps the only thing My Apricot Hill did not like about their experience as a tourist in Bermuda was the Department of Tourism’s slogan.“For many years now Bermuda’s Department of Tourism, flying the promotional tagline ‘Feel the Love’, has tried to build interest in and increase travel to Bermuda.“They most certainly have the brand and a great product to work with, but for My Apricot Hill, ‘Feel the Love’ trivialises Bermuda and the Bermuda experience. For everything Bermuda is; it is not trivial.”
