Officers from the US Consulate will be on hand at ACE Headquarters to help Americans register to vote by way of an absentee voter ballot.US Consul General Robert Settje will be there for 30 minutes starting at noon on October 2 to request his own absentee voter ballot and to formally introduce himself to US residents living in Bermuda.According to a statement released by the Consulate yesterday, interested Americans should visit the IT Training Room on the lobby level of ACE next Tuesday between 11.30am and 1.30pm.Questions about the event or about absentee voting should be directed to VoteHamilton@state.gov.Another website at www.fvap.gov has also been set up to assist US voters.
