Oyez, oyez! Hamilton Town Crier Ed Christopher calls on people to support Make Hunger History Week.

Making Hunger History Week, which runs from this Sunday to October 6, has proven itself as one of the Island’s most important food collection drives for the charities who feed the Island’s needy.Schools, businesses and any other groups who wish to help can join in by requesting a donation box from the Eliza DoLittle Society, at 333-4483 or via info@elizadolittle.bm.You can give with the extra can or two in your cupboards, or by purchasing a little extra non-perishable food the next time you shop.Boxes will be picked up by Daily Bread drivers during the second the second week of October.The supplies are urgently needed, by charities such as the Salvation Army, Centre Against Abuse, the St Vincent de Paul Society, STAR, the Coalition for the Protection of Children, FOCUS, the Seventh-Day Adventist Food Bank, and the St John’s Food Bank.Useful website: www.elizadolittle.bm.
