Bodybuilder places fourth at Arnold Classic in Ohio
A Bermudian bodybuilder made his mark in an international competition recently, making the finals of the 25th annual Arnold Classic.Hafid James took fourth place in the Physique: Men’s B Class competition on Friday in Ohio, coming ahead of more than 50 other competitors.Mr James previously won the first ever Central America and Caribbean Championship’s physique competition.Nalton Brangman yesterday described the results as an “outstanding debut” for Mr James, who had not previously competed in the Arnold Classic.Former Bermuda resident Ryall Graber-Vasani also took part in the competition, taking sixth place in the Fitness category.She wrote on Facebook: “It was the greatest honour to compete on the Arnold stage with the top fitness pros in the world last night.“I’m really pleased with a top six finish considering it was a bit of a tough final prep for me and this was the first run of my new routine. A third-place finish in the physique round was awesome.”
