Brochure aims to help families become stronger
A brochure that “serves as a toolkit” for building strong families has been released by the Sustainable Development Roundtable (SDRT).
Entitled ‘Strong Families Make Strong Communities’, the publication was released this week in recognition of the International Day of the Family on May 15.
The brochure highlights ways for families to “move towards better relationships, financial stability and healthy support systems”.
“Strong families contribute to secure and safe neighbourhoods which are essential to maintaining the Island’s image as a jurisdiction of choice for business and as a place to live with a healthy quality of life,” Sylvan Richards, the Environment Minister, said.
The brochure will be distributed electronically via e-mail, or is available from the Sustainable Development Department office at sdd@gov.bm or by visiting their website at www.sdbermuda.bm. The tips are also listed on their Facebook page, Sustain Bermuda.
