New Deputy Governor sworn in

Bermuda’s first female Deputy Governor was sworn in at a ceremony at Government House this morning.
A career diplomat, Mrs. Ginny Ferson has previously worked in Mauritius, Luxembourg, South Korea and Pakistan during her more-than 25 years with the Diplomatic Service.
She replaces David Arkley.
A mother of two, Mrs. Ferson served as Deputy Governor of Pitcairn while she was simultaneously First Secretary at the British High Commission in Wellington, New Zealand and then British Consul-General in Auckland, New Zealand.
