A 55-year-old man has been charged with stealing two bottles of cognac from St David’s Variety Store.

Coolridge Eve, who is currently in police custody on another matter, denied stealing the liquor, worth $82.70, on December 16 last year.

Mr Eve will remain in custody until he next appears in Magistrates’ Court on January 27.
