Police cordoned off an area near Somerset Long Bay late today after they received reports of possible firearms and ammunition being found in an area of dense foliage near Somerset Long Bay Beach, Sandys.

“The area has been cordoned off while the area is forensically examined. We anticipate a full update in due course,” said a police spokesman.
