Man remanded after alleged shooting

A Pembroke man has been remanded in custody after being charged with using a firearm with intent to cause bodily harm.
In Magistrates’ Courth this morning, prosecutor Carrington Mahoney said Michael Puckerin, 31, of Footbridge Lane, shot at Damon Morris with a 9mm firearm on North Shore Road, Devonshire on July 13.
Mr Puckerin is also alledged to have had with him a Rambo style knife at the Mid Atlantic Boat Club.
As the charges are indictable there was no plea.
Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner remanded the defendant in custody for a trial date of August 6.
