Trio charged after fight on Horseshoe Bay

Three men have been charged after allegedly starting a fight at Horseshoe Bay over the Cup Match weekend.

In Magistrates’ Court this morning, Leoshawan Place, 17, of Devonshire, Travis Lowe, 21, of Devonshire and Jafari Raynor, 22, of Pembroke all pleaded not guilty.

The incident took place last Thursday.

Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner released the defendants on $2,000 bail each with one surety.

The trial is set for October 13.

• Also in Magistrates’ Court, 17-year-old Stefan Martin pleaded not guilty to having in his possession a black handled knife on Happy Valley Road in Devonshire on August 3.

Mr Warner released him on $5,000 bail for trial on November 6.
