Man denies supplying cannabis

A Devonshire man has been charged with trying to supply cannabis.

In Magistrates’ Court this morning, Olding Dill, 42, of Devonshire pleaded not guilty to having the drug in his possession for supply. He also pleaded not guilty to having in his possession three pairs of scissors and a scale to be used in connection with the misuse of a controlled drug.

The offence is alleged to have taken place in Devonshire on November 9, 2012, said prosecutor Nicole Smith.

Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner released Mr Dill on $10,000 bail with one surety.

A warrant was also issued for Michael Doucet, 32, of Devonshire who was allegedly also involved with the offence but did not appear in Court.
