Man denies bank account offence

A Sandys man denied wrongfully retaining credit when he appeared in Magistrates’ Court this morning.

Brian Bradshaw, 36, pleaded not guilty to wrongfully keeping $3,200 that was deposited into his Clarien Bank account on June 20.

Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner set bail at $5,000 with one surety.

The case was adjourned to November 12.

• Also in Magistrates’ Court, Joshua Bucher, 18, of Smith’s, pleaded not guilty to driving while intoxicated.

He denied driving while under the influence of alcohol, speeding and failing to comply with a breathalyser test on July 19.

Mr Warner set bail at $2,000 and a trail date was set for September 2.

• Darren Edwards, 48, of Paget, also pleaded not guilty to driving while intoxicated, failing to supply a breath sample for analysis, and driving while disqualified.

The offences allegedly occurred in Smith’s parish on July 20.

Mr Warner set bail at $2,000 and the case was adjourned to September 8.
