Man admits molesting girl, 5
A 54-year-old man has admitted to sexually touching a five-year-old girl.
Michael Byron, from Southampton, pleaded guilty in Supreme Court yesterday to two counts of sexually exploiting a young person.
According to the charges, both incidents took place on August 31 in Southampton. The victim cannot be identified for legal reasons.
The case first appeared before Magistrates' Court in September, but Byron was not required to plea at that time because the case was sent to the Supreme Court.
He has remained in custody since then.
Puisne Judge Carlisle Greaves ordered that a social inquiry report be conducted before sentencing next year.
