Man denies prowling

A Pembroke man was banned from entering the parish of St George’s after he pleaded not guilty in Magistrates’ Court this morning to prowling.

James Warren, 29, is accused of prowling at a dwelling on Redcoat Lane, St George’s, on four separate occasions in January.

Crown Prosecutor Susan Mulligan told the court that Mr Warren climbed a stepladder in order to look through a bathroom window.

Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo set bail at $3,000, ordered that Mr Warren have no contact with the residents of the dwelling on Redcoat Lane, and not enter the parish of St George’s at any time.

Mr Warren elected to be tried in Magistrates’ Court and a trial date was set for May 6.
