A man shot at Bailey’s Bay Cricket Club more than a week ago remained in critical condition yesterday.

The 40-year-old Hamilton Parish man was rushed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital on July 2 afte a gunman reportedly walked into the cricket club minutes after midnight and opened fire.

According to a police spokesman, the victim remained in the Intensive Care Unit yesterday morning.

Police are still investigating the shooting and are urging witnesses to contact the the Serious Crime Unit on 247-1739 or the independent and confidential Crime Stoppers hotline at 800-8477.
