All public schools will be closed for a professional training day on Tuesday next week.

Training will be conducted by local educators and represents an ongoing collaborative effort between the Department of Education and the Bermuda Union of Teachers, according to a statement from the Bermuda Government.

It will be done as part of the Danielson Framework for Effective Teaching.

Schools will also be closed on Wednesday for Remembrance Day, with students returning on Thursday.
