A motorist led police through Hamilton and Devonshire on a high-speed chase on Sunday.
The driver, a 26-year-old Hamilton Parish man, eventually crashed into a wall in the area of Poinciana Road, Devonshire. He was later arrested, along with his male passenger, for several offences.
Police say the incident — the latest in a string of high-speed chases involving police — began when officers had reason to stop the car on Church Street, Hamilton, at 10pm.
A spokesman said the man “refused to stop for police when signalled to do so, leading officers on a high-speed chase through parts of the city and the Middle Road, Devonshire, area”.
There were no reported injuries.
