Axis Capital Holdings has donated $20,000 to Teen Services and Teen Haven.

The money will be used to enhance existing programmes and launch new ones at the charities which provide services to at-risk females, including pregnant teens, teen mothers and young women.

The Teen Haven residential programme is celebrating 40 years of service to the community this year. Teen Services will mark 50 years of service to young people and their families next year.

According to a press release, Axis has provided financial sponsorship since 2015.

The Axis charity committee stated: “It is our privilege to assist Teen Services/Teen Haven in their efforts to provide social service and life strategy programmes, which will propel our young people towards a brighter future.

“We look forward to continuing our support of this great charity, as they carry out their programmes in the future.”

Upcoming plans include enhancing the Precious Gems Summer programme by extending the service throughout the year, offering specific counselling and support for middle school girls.
