A salute to those whose lives were lost at sea was observed yesterday with a laying of a memorial wreath.
The ceremony is organised by the Guild of the Holy Compassion in partnership with the Department of Marine and Ports.
The Guild was founded to care for the graves of merchant seamen buried in Bermuda, and has gone on to maintain the annual ceremony.
