A family friendly event will take place in the City of Hamilton this weekend.

Tamara Bradshaw, events coordinator for the City of Hamilton, said “We’re excited to bring this family-filled event back. It’s going to have a carnival-like feel and there will be lots of games with prizes to be won.”

The Summer Sunday in the Park event will include live entertainment, games, dance troupes, vendors and a variety of food and drink.

The event, which will be held

in Victoria Park, is the first of its kind since 2014.

It will be hosted by Ed Christopher and Power Girl and will take place from 2pm to 8pm and admission to the park is free.
