Premier’s Concert on Saturday

United Dance Productions will feature at the Premier’s Concert this Saturday

The public is invited to the 34th Premier’s Concert this Saturday.

The event is being organised by the Department of Community and Cultural Affairs and takes place in the Ruth Seaton James Centre for the Performing Arts at CedarBridge Academy.

It features young people in the performing and visual arts including dancers, singers and musicians.

Lovitta Foggo, Minister of Labour, Community Affairs and Sports, said: “The Premier’s Concert has, for over 30 consecutive years, showcased some of our island’s exceptionally talented young people in the visual and performing arts.

“It gives our youth a platform to display their gifts and for us, as a community, to celebrate youth excellence in the arts.”

The featured acts are: United Dance Productions; Ross and Gareth Cooper; Xela Swan; Naphisa and Sari Smith; Lauren Genevieve; InMotion; and Gilbert & Sullivan’s Annie. Youth hosts for the event are Yassine Chentouf, Jessie DeBraga and Nyoaki Williams, assisted by Qian Dickinson of Bermemes.
