Fun Zone for St David’s

A new family entertainment centre with two floors of games and attractions is set to open in St David's this summer.

The Xtreme Sports Fun Zone in the Commercial Park area of Southside, will also feature a café, sports bar and outdoor play area.

A spokeswoman for the business said: “We'll be implementing various features of the family entertainment centre in phases as this will allow us to grow steadily and ensure our operations are running efficiently.

“We'd like to extend our gratitude to the Bermuda Land Development Company who have patiently worked with us throughout the whole process.

“We're excited to be opening in St David's as we hope to gain traction in the east end of the island.”

The spokeswoman said the company had been working on the project for about two years and is “delighted” to move forward.

The Fun Zone will initially open on weekends from Friday to Sunday, with membership and reward programmes offering discounts and perks.

Major Barrett Dill, BLDC CEO, said: “We welcome Xtreme Sports to Southside and are very excited about their new venture.

“Their family entertainment business model fits in with our vision of developing the area into a thriving community for the Island, welcoming entrepreneurs, and creating opportunities for all Bermudians to enjoy the amenities of the East End.”
