The City of Hamilton advises that No.1 Car Park on Front Street will close on Friday, April 5th for continued resurfacing upgrades.

City Senior Engineer, Ian Hind, said of the closure, “With the forecasted inclement weather on Saturday, we’re taking advantage of the opportunity to continue the asphalt preparations on Friday so that we can get as much completed as possible before the weather deteriorates. The No.1 car park will be closed from Friday through Monday and possibly Tuesday.”

The City apologizes for any inconvenience caused by the closure of the lot as these necessary upgrades are completed. Alternative short-term parking can be found in both Par-la-Ville Car Park and City Hall Car Park.
