The roundabout at LF Wade International Airport on Kindley Field Road will get a temporary lane closure as part of ongoing work on the new air terminal.Lieutenant-Colonel David Burch, the public works minister, said a one-lane traffic closure would be in place “only as needed” from next Monday to July 3.Aecon, the contractor for the new terminal, will be installing a new airport sign at the roundabout. The closures, affecting the internal westbound lane near Cahow Way side, will allow construction vehicles to enter the roundabout.Aecon staff will manage traffic controls through stop and go signs. The ministry encouraged the co-operation of the public and apologised for any inconvenience.Questions about the closures can be directed to Mason Lamarche at Aecon Airport Constructors, on 533-0075.
