`Arch rivals' clash at Den
Wolves are expected to have their hands full when they take on Boulevard in a First Division clash at Devonshire Rec. tonight, starting at 9.00.
The 7.00 opener will feature a Second Division match-up between two eastern clubs, St. David's and St. George's.
Forced off the bench tonight after being sent off during last Sunday's game between Wolves and Somerset, Brown will be keen to see his team follow up their 1-0 win over the Trojans with a good result against the Blazers.
Boulevard have experienced mixed fortunes so far, beating triple champions Vasco in the Charity Cup but then losing 4-0 against the same team in the Martonmere Cup and going down 1-0 to Devonshire Colts on Sunday.
But Brown expects them to bounce back and be competitive tonight.
"There has been a long rivalry between the two clubs and the defeats that they have suffered this season mean nothing. I know they will bounce back and prove that they are one of the best teams in local soccer, we just have to make sure that we play well,'' said the coach.
