In Group Five, Steven Carruthers fired a commendable 77 to emerge the leader while Justin Barritt followed on 78 and Robbie Spurling on 81.

In Group Four, played over 14 holes, Neil Fenton led the way with a 64 just edging out Jeremy Drover on retrogression. Adrian Beasley was third on 69, beating out Chris Tully on retrogression.

Groups One, Two and Three were in action at St. George's where R.J.Pachai shot a spectacular five over par 67 to lead the way in Group Three followed by Oliver Pitcher on 75 and Chaka DeSilva on 78.

Group Two, played over 12 holes, saw a three way tie on 48 with Nick Dunkle edging out Ryan Marshall and Ryan Mello on retrogression.

In Group One, also played over 12 holes, Sean Outerbridge shot a fine 53 to lead the way over Scott Roy on 54 and Andrew Boyce who edged out Chris Rodriques on retrogression with 55.

In novice play at Southampton Princess, Jarryd Dillas led the way with a 37 over nine holes. Second on 40 was Tyler Marshall followed by Daniel Dickinson who edged out Michael Watts on retrogression with 43.

Play continues this weekend at Belmont with the annual turkey shoot followed by quarterly prize giving.
