Cruising Association's Fall Series with Buddy Rego in Tsunami and A.Williams
In race one, Tsunami made a perfect pin end start to get in front of Defiant (S.Vestbirk) and held that lead to the finish. Defiant suffered halyard and spinnaker damage which cost her valuable time.
Tsunami was again unbeatable in race two when the wind had slightly shifted to the north.
In the cruising class, Swift of Paget made all the running to win easily on corrected time.
Lullaby (David Roblin) took line honours in both races.
Pie Crust (R.Jennings/C.Tatem) and Reckless (G.Vasic), who hold the same handicap, sailed close together with the heavier breeze tending to favour Pie Crust .
Winds were 15 to 20 knots out of the north, north-east with the odd gust slightly higher. The winds gradually dropped in the afternoon.
The final race of the series will be held on December 6.
