Rangers' chance for revenge

on Sunday and to exact revenge for a midweek hammering in the process when they take on PHC at Southampton Oval (3.00 p.m.).

The Zebras crushed Rangers 4-0 in a Friendship Trophy clash at BAA Field on Tuesday night, thanks to a high-class hat-trick from striker Steve Astwood.

But that experience will only make the bottom-of-table club doubly determined to break their duck in the games won column in their fourth match of the campaign.

Sammy Swan's black-and-whites will be more concerned with the top end of the table and building on their confidence-boosting Friendship triumph to help them in their bid to defend their league title.

The fixture, rescheduled after being postponed on October 29, will be Sunday's only Premier Division match.

But there is a full programme of First Division games on the same day, including a double header at Lord's with Hamilton Parish taking on St. David's at 1.00 p.m. followed by Boulevard against leaders Paget at 3.00 p.m.

In the other matches, Ireland Rangers host St. George's at Malabar Field (1.00 p.m.) and Prospect United face Social Club at Police Field (3.00 p.m.).

Bermudians will have the opportunity to chat live with overseas soccer professional David Bascome on Sunday and gain some insight into the Harrisburg Heat and Bermuda player's game and philosophy.

Bascome will host a `chat session' on his newly unveiled website -- www.Bascomesoccer.com -- from 11.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.

The site features Bascome game photos, cartoons created by Bascome, career highlights, information regarding the Bascome Pro Soccer School, as well as information from sports psychologist Dr. Mike Asken and Jamie Sprow on developing the physical and mental skills of players.

Additionally, the site will offer the soon to be released Developmental Soccer Training CD Rom, featuring Bascome, along with fellow Heat players Gino Diflorio, Meshach Wade and former player Mike Williams.

Today sees Bascome suiting up for his NPSL outfit to take on Baltimore Blast in an Eastern Conference match-up.
