7-0 thrashing of Sandys Sports Club II, solidifying OCC's position at the top of the First Division with 41 points, five ahead of their nearest rivals.

In second place are Sandys Sports Club I with 36 points after they edged Queens Club I 4-3 despite a 35 break by Queens' top player, Stephen Roberts.

In Second Division action Edward Hayward of St. George's Dinghy and Sports Club fashioned a hat-trick with a 22 break during his side's 5-2 defeat of Old Colony Club III, which allowed the East Enders to take over the league leadership.

Ed Gumbs did likewise for Queens Club II as they ran out easy 6-1 winners over Old Colony Club IV.

Police's Grant Tompkins won the Second Division's Christmas Turkey shoot with a 24 break.

BOWLING BOW The second half of the Miller High Life League began just as the first left off as defending champions Tools and Equipment maintained their charge in dismantling Stevedoring Services 25-5.

Equipment posted the top team game and series of 971 and 2,848 respectively, with Dean Lightbourne contributing second high game and series of 246 and 643, and Conrad Lister a high game score of 247.

After an early scare in the first game, Team Metro pulled their socks up to cruise past a short-handed New Mix Ups 25-5.

In other action Terminators crushed New Breed 27-3 behind Reggie Harvey's top series 657 and a 244 game from Robert Flood; Marlboro, despite being a bowler short, were able to defeat Team Electric; while the closest result saw Lite Ice sweep the final and deciding game to edge Thompson's 16-14.

SQUASH SQU The first day of action in the Pirates Port Junior Squash tournament produced plenty of excitement with two five set matches in the Boys Under 14 and Under 19 categories.

In the older division, Marco Bortoli raised his game against number four seed Scott Wheeler. But it was Wheeler who came through with a 9-3, 7-9, 10-8, 7-9, 9-2 victory.

In the lower age group James Hillier and Marcus Burgess locked horns with Hillier's experience proving decisive. Burgess, who only began playing in September, took the match to five sets before losing 8-9, 4-9, 9-5, 9-3, 9-4.

HARNESS RACING RAH The postponed Boxing Day Stake Races have been rescheduled for Sunday at the Vesey Street Equestrian Centre, starting at 12.30 p.m., to be followed by the New Year's Day extravaganza, also starting at 12.30.

SOCCER SOC Paget CC will hold a training session for all of their players at Paget primary School on Sunday morning at 10.00.
