Somerset Eagles maintained their perfect record with a hard fought victory over visiting St. David's at White Hill Field yesterday.

Only a late tally from Eagles' forward Rodre Wilson separated two evenly matched foes, with St. David's unlucky to be on the wrong end for the second straight week. Eagles thus sit level on points with St. George's atop the First Division.

Hamilton Parish 1 Boulevard 1 Hamilton Parish and Boulevard each claimed their first points of the season, battling to a 1-1 draw at St. David's.

Ernest (Joe) Latham put Boulevard ahead early in the second half through an unfortunate own goal, but Damon Edwards made amends with a late equaliser.

Rangers, expected to challenge for promotion this season, found out that the path will not be an easy one.

Social Club led 1-0 at half-time and then doubled the advantage to 2-0 soon after the break, before Jonathan Bean pulled one back for Rangers. However, any thoughts of a full recovery were dashed as the visitors struck twice more to seal the deal.
