swimmers to get involved in competition, with a view to sending a team to Barbados for the Latin America and Caribbean Masters Swimming Championships.

The September 5-9 event is open to swimmers over the age of 25 and will also feature a sub-Masters category (20-24 years).

The Barbados Aquatic Centre, a 50-metre facility, will be the venue with races ranging in distance from 50 to 800 metres including relays for men, women and mixed teams.

Currently, BASA administrator and coach Kris Cash operates several programmes for adult swimmers at the BASA pool. Other sessions are conducted at Warwick Academy by Martin Allen, who is also a coach at Sharks Swim Club.
