Warwick 74 First Division champions St. David's scored a resounding 181-run victory over Warwick in an overs match at Lord's on Sunday.

Del Hollis, better known for his spin bowling exploits, this time shone with the bat, hitting a solid 62. Also among the runs were Rudell Pitcher with 32, skipper Shea Pitcher (27), Reginald Pitcher (27), O.J.Pitcher (21) and Dean Pitcher (20). Stephen Bremar led Warwick bowlers with two for 37 while Daniel Caines had two for 48 and Johnny Nusum two for 65.

Warwick's batsmen struggled at the crease with their top scorer being Q.King with 19. Richie Foggo followed on 15 and Nusum with 13.

Rudell Pitcher led the St. David's bowling with three for 30 off seven overs and one maiden while Kameron Fox had two for none off one over, O.J.Pitcher two for nine off 2.4 overs and Lionel Cann two for 14 off six overs, with two maidens.

Regiment Warrant Officers and Sergeants Mess 212-3 Officers Mess 213-3 A masterful unbeaten 103 from Eddie Lambe and two wickets from Brian Gonsalves helped lift Bermuda Regiment Officers' Mess to their third successive win over the Warrant Officers and Sergeants' Mess on Sunday in the annual clash at Shelly Bay.

Lambe's stellar innings took the Officers' tally from 23-1 to 145-2 before partner Gordon Campbell retired hurt on 76.

The Warrant Officers then sensed a turn of the tide after David Napier and Gonsalves were sent back to the pavillion without scoring.

But wicketkeeper David Gibbons (11) proved an able partner for Lambe who cut, pulled and drove the opposition for 17 fours and two sixes.

Earlier, the Warrant Officers, boosted by an unbeaten half century from skipper Terry Fray, and 92 from opener Sherwin Richardson, set a respectable total of 212-3 in their alloted 35 overs.

Fray and Richardson took the Warrant Officers from 71-2 to 181-3 before Fray retired on 50.

Although their eventual total of 212-3 looked defensible, Lambe, who earlier dropped the simplest of catches off Richardson, and Campbell, set about the chase in a belligerent manner.

Lambe scored the winning runs when he lifted Whorms over the midwicket boundary for four.

Among those who turned out was Governor Thorold Masefield, commander-in-chief of the Bermuda Regiment, who played for the Officers Mess, returning bowling figures of 3-0-29-0.
