James bounces back to victory

Tournament in Minnesota yesterday when he bounced back from an 80 on the second day to shoot a final round of 76.

James, leading by three strokes after Monday's opening round, found himself trailing by a shot after an 80 on Tuesday. But the 14-year-old came charging back to snatch victory over 45 other players by two strokes when he shot a 76.

The second round leader could only manage a 79 on the par 72 Izatys Golf and Yachy Club.

James will not compete in the Jos A. Banks Jr All-Star Classic at Kissimmee Bay Country Club in Florida starting next Tuesday. That is a 36-hole event.

The final tournament James will play in before returning home is the 36-hole AJGA All-Star Classic at Kingwood Country Club in Texas from July 13.
