Darrell, a former youth player with North Village, moved to the area with his mother Wendi last year, and quickly established himself in the Baldwin team.
He led their scoring with 22 goals as a midfielder, helping the team to finish second in GHSA Region 2-AAAA West and advance to the region play-offs.
Darrell has signed a letter of intent to play for Brewton-Parker College, an NAIA school in Mount Vernon, Georgia and Baldwin coach Chip Lundy felt the Bermudian could play right away for the Barons, a pipeline for the professional leagues.
"A lot of people don't realise this, but Brewton-Parker have put players into the pros,'' said Lundy.
