Mello took the lead on the first day with a 73 and tension rose after the second day when last year's winner Chris Brough shot a 72 to move him into second place by one stroke over Frazer Hunt, Bermuda's 1998 Junior Match Play champion. Yesterday, on the front nine Hunt gained two strokes on the leader with a one-over par 37 as Brough went out in 38 and Mello 39. However, on the back nine Mello had an excellent even par 34 while Brought shot a 35 and Hunt 37. David Smith claimed the 13-14 title with three consistent days of golf which saw him shoot 76 on each day. Aaron James had to settle for second place, one stroke back, despite a final round of 74 which was the best in the group over the three days.

Jarryd Dillas was third a further three strokes back. Tyler Marshall was the 12 and under winner by a comfortable 42 strokes over Andrew Osborne and Brian Smith who tied on 296. Overall tournament winner, playing from the blue tees, was Jerome Overbey, while in group results for net scores Nick Dunkle (205) won by three strokes in the 15 and over above Matthew Durrant and Stephanie Lewis (208). Lucie Patching, playing from the white tees, won the 13-14 on 180 while Overbey had a 189 and Ryan Marshall 199 from the blue tees.
