Ocean View Golf Club with Andre Dill stealing the spotlight after shooting a
second flight winner on a 74 and Gregory Outerbridge was third on a 76.
In the first flight 13-18 division, Cecil Pulley won top honours shooting an 80 while Ellsworth Pearman was in second place, also with an 80. Kevin Swan was third with an 83.
The 19-24 first flight winner was Gary Bascome on a 91 with Averylon Simons (91) and Eardley Smith (92) finishing second and third.
Raymond DeSilva achieved the longest drive on hole number 10 while Derek Burrows was closest to the pin on the 14th hole.
In four ball best ball scores it was the squad captained by John Richardson leading the way along with Quinton Johnson, Andre Dill and Cecil Pulley.
The Ellsworth Pearman team of Wilfred Smith, Kirk Simmons and Junior Robinson was second and third place was sewed up by Kevin Swan, Gregory Outerbridge, Colin Basden and Cleveland Smith.
Quinton Johnston (67), Kirk Simmons (69) and Junior Robinson (70) registered top low net scores.
The Port Royal `1' GC squad is atop the `A' League standings in the Amstel Golf League after Saturday's play with 25 total points on 919 strokes. Port Royal's `2' team is in second place with 201 points on 928 strokes. Tied for third place with 161 points are Ocean View `1' and the Bermuda Golf Association's Men's squad with 934 and 928 strokes respectively. Belmont (12, 935) Mid Ocean (10, 938) and Ocean View `2' (51 , 971) follow in the standings.
Leading the `B' League standings on 18 points and 473 strokes is the Bermuda Junior Golf Association. In second place in Port Royal `3' with 16 points and 478 strokes and in third spot is the BGA Women's team on 14 points and 477 strokes.
Belmont GC is in fourth spot on eight points and 498 strokes followed by Castle Harbour (six, 505) and Ocean View `4' (four, 526) in fifth and sixth place.
Amstel league action resumes on Saturday with `A' league games at Ocean View `B' league games at Belmont GC.
ROAD RUNNING RUN Mark Perry and Karen Adams were the top male and female finishers of the Hamilton Harriers-Athletic Club 5-K on Sunday, the final event on the KPMG Peat Marwick Road Running Series calendar.
Perry captured the event by clocking 15:57, a full 56 seconds ahead of Tracy Wright who was second with a time of 16:03. In third place was Neil de Ste.
Croix -- winner of the previous week's Bank of Butterfield Duathlon -- finishing the race in 16:19.
Adams ran the course in 18:10 as the top female finisher, but was 16th overall.
Lynn Kynoch was second-best woman with a time of 18:31, picking up from where she left off in the Duathlon where she compiled a record-breaking performance.
In third place was Jennifer Fisher, who crossed the finish line in 18:49.

TENNIS TEN Top seed Ricky Mallory captured the men's `A' division of the Pomander Gate Open Tennis tournament with a convincing (4-6), 6-4, 6-0 victory over number three seed Jerome Bradshaw on Monday.
Number one seed Donna Bradshaw was the women's `A' division champion after she disposed of number two seed Sheila Gomez 6-2, 6-1.
In the men's doubles final, number one seeds Steve Bean and Ricky Mallory handily defeated Monty Nearon and Collie Place 6-1, 6-1.
Top seeds Sheila Gomez and Wendy Gelhay defeated Ailsa Campbell and Jacqui White (3-6), 6-3, 6-1 to win the women's doubles crown.
In mixed doubles play, number two seeds Donna and Jerome Bradshaw triumphed over Keith Beattie and Wendy Gelhay 6-4, 6-3.
The men's `B' singles title was won by number two seed Oliver Bain after his defeat over Warren Smith, 6-1, (2-6), 6-3.
Number two seed Elizabeth Tringham sent Margaret Leonard crashing to defeat after a 6-1, 6-0 triumph to take the women's `B' singles crown.
